Welcome to First Baptist Church of Crofton

Oh how easy it is to get lost! With our cell phones and iPads, our 24-hour news cycles, there’s virtually nowhere to go for a moment of peace and quiet.

That’s where First Baptist Church comes in. We provide a holy place of respite in the tumult of life. So come, put aside the cares of the week and find yourself in the presence of God, surrounded in the warmth of Christ's love.

Faith is more than what happens on Sunday mornings. It's a part of who we are, inside and out. At First Baptist Church of Crofton, we believe in sharing the joy of the Gospel daily, and living a life that embodies the spirit of Christ.

• We have two Worship Services: one at 9:45 (contemporary) and at 11:00 (traditional). Each service lasts about one hour and is filled with congregational singing, prayer, fellowship, and sound Biblical teaching. 
• Have a little one who would rather be in the nursery? No problem! We have an excellently staffed nursery available during both services. 
• At both 9:45 and 11:00, we have Bible studies for adults. The adult Bible study classes afford a person several choices upon what they would like to focus. 
• At 11:00, we have the Youth class, for middle and high school students, which involves teaching by a team of several different adults who bring important perspectives on their life experiences as they mentor the youth in application of Biblical truths.
• Also, at 11:00, we have our Children's Church for grades K-5th.

Our church is filled with people from all walks of life and has rightly garnered the reputation of being a warm and welcoming church.

Throughout the year, we will have special classes taught by our pastors that delve deeper into important Christian topics including theology, apologetics, stewardship, and world religions.
